Shown at left: The living room features a fireplace as its focal point, so we used a barn beam as a mantle to keep with the original style of the house.

This addition was constructed in the 1970s and did not blend very well with the character of the rest of the house. The large living room addition was updated with track lighting, custom window trim and rustic oak flooring in an effort to make it blend more with the existing house. Several windows and a patio door were added to brighten it.
